Holiday Break Conditioning Schedule

Today I bring to you a holiday break conditioning calendar.  This can be used to stay in shape and improve over the break so that you can be ready to go for the new season.


Mon 12/21 – Sun 12/27

Take this time completely off (except for maybe some light stretching or massage after a hot bath).  Rest up!

Mon 12/28

  1. The exercises section of my Improving Turnout post
  2. Barre on your own (I recommend wearing socks to feel your foot articulation and turnout)
  3. 30 minutes of stretching

Tue 12/29

  1. Kathryn Morgan feet & pointework strengthening video (click here)
  2. Jog 3/4 mile
  3. Barre on your own (I recommend wearing socks to feel your foot articulation and turnout)
  4. 10 minutes of stretching

Wed 12/30

  1. My Core Workout
  2. Barre on your own (I recommend wearing socks to feel your foot articulation and turnout)
  3. 30 minutes of stretching

Thu 12/31

  1. Kathryn Morgan’s 20 minute leg toning workout (click here)
  2. Jog 3/4 mile
  3. Barre on your own (I recommend wearing socks to feel your foot articulation and turnout)
  4. 10 minutes of stretching

Fri 1/1

  1. Jog 3/4 mile
  2. Full class on your own (Wear socks for barre and ballet shoes for center)
  3. 30 minutes of stretching

Sat 1/2

  1. 20 minutes of intense yoga
  2. My full warm up routine
  3. Barre on your own
  4. 30 minutes of stretching

Sun 1/3

  1. Hot bath
  2. 30 minutes of stretching
